Impulse response identification from input/output binary measurements

چکیده
In this paper, we study the identification of Finite Impulse Response systems in a particular context: data on input and output are obtained with one-bit quantizers, thresholds quantizers can be different from zero. A three-step algorithm is proposed these binary-valued measurements. This based normal distribution noises. The appropriately analyzed: it shown to asymptotically unbiased, its asymptotic variance also expressed. Numerical simulations provided demonstrate effectiveness even presence noise validate analysis.

Impulse Response Measurements Using All-Pass Deconvolution
A method of measuring impulse responses of rooms will be described which uses time reversed electronic reverberation from a single pulse as the excitation. The room response, recorded on DAT, is decoded by playing the tape back through the reverberator. The output can be heard, recorded, or analyzed. The method improves S/N by 20 dB and can be implemented with approximately 14 multiples/sample ...
متن کاملDetermination of Sound Reduction Index by impulse response measurements
The Sound Reduction Index of a partition can be measured according to the method described by ISO 140. This paper reports experimental results obtained with a new measurement method based on the determination of the impulse response in two rooms separated by the partition. In fact, it is possible to show that, by evaluating the Schroeder integral plot, we can calculate energy levels and reverbe...
متن کاملImpulse Response Measurements in the Presence of Clock Drift
There are many impulse response measurement scenarios in which the playback and recording devices maintain separate unsynchronized digital clocks resulting in clock drift. Clock drift is problematic for impulse response measurement techniques involving convolution, including sinusoidal sweeps and pseudo-random noise sequences. We present analysis of both a drifting record clock and playback clo...
متن کاملSemi-blind identification of finite impulse response channels
It is a standard result that a finite impulse response channel of length L can be uniquely identified by feeding in a known (and persistently exciting) sequence of 2L 1 consecutive data points. Equivalently, given only 2L 2 consecutive data points, the channel can be uniquely identified up to a multiplicative constant. This paper significantly extends the identifiability criterion to the case w...
متن کاملSubspace identification with constraints on the impulse response
Subspace identification methods produce unreliable model estimates when a small number of noisy measurements are available. In such cases, the accuracy of the estimated parameters can be improved by using prior knowledge about the system. The prior knowledge considered in this paper is constraints on the impulse response, e.g., steady-state gain, overshoot, and rise time. The method proposed ha...
